A way of questioning how we perceive the world: our beliefs, our fears, and the stories we build.

Path
In 2019 Anna Lê Quang took part in the lab around the show Démocratie Melancholia, directed by Amélie Clément. That experience led her to explore a research-driven approach to feed her creative work.
She earned her DET at the Caen Conservatoire & Orchestra in 2021, then joined the Horizon Théâtre preparatory class and a master’s in theatre.
A co-founder of the company La nuit sera feu, she co-wrote and performed in Cartographie d’une nuit, which won the national CROUS award and was staged in Avignon in 2023.
Anna is also a mezzo-soprano and a cellist. Alongside, she develops performance work in a long-term collaboration with the painter Léna Braslavskaya.

Approach
I am interested in the transformations that AI and new technologies bring to our relationship with reality, memory, the body and creation.
Transmission is central to my work, with a particular wish to speak to young audiences, creating forms that spark curiosity, exchange and critical thinking.
To look at the artists of the past in order to light the way for those to come.
My wish for the coming year
This research, at the crossroads of several disciplines I love, blends humour and intellectual rigour. It takes care to give their place back to forgotten figures, women or racialised people, unpicking historical manipulations and cultural illusions.
Voice
Voice work is the common thread of my career. My activity sits at the crossroads of live performance, singing, cultural mediation, elocution and reading aloud.
Today I am training in voice-over and wish to build collaborations with the audiovisual field. Musicality, voice and body intertwine in my work, giving rise to hybrid forms.
