Theatre is, for us, a meeting point; we defend creations built in contact with audiences, places and territories, extended by mediation and workshops.

Driven by a “reaching-out” approach, we seek to multiply encounters with audiences, partners and territories, and to keep our creations alive beyond the stage.

History

Since 2022

Founded in 2022, the company La nuit sera feu brings together five artists from the Caen area: Camille Dionnet, Judikaël Goater, Goulc’han Lemoine, Anna Lê Quang and Léna Osseyran.

Their first show, Cartographie d’une nuit, received several institutional supports (University of Caen, ÉSAM, Amavada company, Radian doctoral programme) and won the national CROUS student theatre award, which led the company to be programmed in Nancy and then Avignon.

Camille Dionnet, Anna Lê Quang and Goulc’han Lemoine, now graduated, have co-directed the company’s new creation since 2025: Elle danse encore.

Elle danse encore

The company pursues its work on contemporary forms that bring text, the presence of bodies and a visual world into dialogue, around intimate and political questions: collapse, solitude, memory, the unspoken, the desire for revolt and rebirth.

Organisation

A collective direction

As part of our professionalisation, we rethought how we work to strengthen our artistic identity. Since September 2025, artistic direction has been carried collectively by three of the five founding artists, Camille Dionnet, Goulc’han Lemoine and Anna Lê Quang, to ensure a clear and coherent vision across all creations.

This marks a turning point: where each founder once developed her own projects within the company, we now work in a truly collective way, building a shared language and artistic line together.

Around this direction, the company also works with associate artists, engaged project by project, such as Charles Lotrian, Mila Genevois or Florentin Dorléan. These collaborations enrich our creations and bring fresh perspectives.

Manifesto

Our artistic line

A living tool, that evolves with our research, our questions and our encounters.

We claim a tragic-comic theatre, where gravity and humour coexist, without simplifying or resolving.

Our stories are born from subjectivity: what the character feels, hides or overflows becomes the engine of the play.

We place the stage outside naturalism, favouring a dreamlike space where the set suggests more than it shows.

The body is central to our stage language: its exhaustion, its repetition, its performance tell as much as words. And the idea of collapse runs through our work like a thread.

Finally, each creation grows from empirical research nourished by reading.

This manifesto commits us to staying true to our values: inclusion, respect, ethics and ecological awareness, while cultivating curiosity.
